The last month I had two losses. As some of you might be aware of, my camera has broke while I was filming an event in High Wycombe. The ironic of the story is the process that the guy who smashed it decided not to pay for anything. Long story short, I agreed not to take any money from him as he went to a lawyer asking for support and the lawyer said because it was an accident he should stay out of the situation. It was a hassle for me, being without a camera for two months. The tragic of the story? He is a life coach! It looks like someone needs counselling on how to treat people I guess..

Two days before I went for Christmas holidays back home, I bought a new one (the same one) from Jessops, which now is at the administration and all the retail shops and web-store is now shut down.

On my Christmas holidays, I had plenty of shooting. Wherever I was going I had my camera with me. Surprisingly I had lots of productive weekends helping friends, working at clubs and so on. After a few days I had to leave Cyprus and come back to the most boring place in Uk. High Wycombe... Anyway, I was packing my stuff and everything was good and shiny..

I am a person that keeps the electronic stuff together, my bag is shock-proof and it has protection to the five sides of it. During the Larnaca airport's X-Ray, I took my laptop out of my bag (as the rules were saying) and I placed them in a separate box with my external hard drive. It looks like now my hard drive is inaccessible and broken. I 've had the hard drive for my last five years without formatting it. Despite the fact that I was using it for extra space for my laptop, I had all my work, my documents, recommendation letters, my photos, my videos and footage from all these years university's work, music and so on. NO, there was no back-up of anything... As they are saying, everything happens for a reason. Now I have 3 Tbs usb 3.0, a portable one and one that needs power. But heey, its a Lacie! :)

That means I have to re-build my library of all the AudioVisual material that I had so far. Well, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
